Materials & plastic blends
Material names describe families. Performance depends on the actual grade, additives, geometry and manufacturing conditions.
PC and PC/ABS
Polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends are used in electrical and electronic enclosures. The selected grade determines properties such as stiffness, heat resistance and flame performance.
What to request
Ask for the resin grade and relevant material datasheet. A material name on its own cannot establish the finished product’s drop resistance, durability or regulatory compliance. Compare specimens under the same test conditions.
